Plugging the original bridge
swivel screw holes

Flatting off the small wooden
plugs with a Dremel

The levelled plugs prior to
filling & sanding

Plugs filled an flatted,
they'll be painted up after the bridge position is marked out

Making tape for marking out
the now bridge position

To make sure the bridge is in
the right place the neck is temp fitted to mark out the scale length of
25.5"

The bridge wouldn't come far
enough forward to get the right scale length so the cavity it fits into had to
be cut out
more on it's leading edge and the neck pocket had to be taken back slightlty.
This isn't going to be that easy a job - nothing fits!!

Here the neck is being set to
centre so the bridge can be marked out at 90 deg to the centreline

Note the wedges in the neck
pocket? The neck is a very sloppy fit and will have to have small wooden
shims made to tighten
it when it gets fitted properly

Gettng ready to drill out the
hole for the new bridge posts with a flat bottomed Forstenr bit

New bridge posts fitted -
hopefully in the right place!
More to follow soon
